Favors - Help!!

Favors - Help!!

Checking tons of things off the To-Do List lately, but really stuck on favors. In my mind it has to be perfect - useful, pretty, fun and not something people are going to throw away!! My brother did the layered cookie jars last summer and they were a huge hit, so need something good!! My fiance just wants something cheap!!

I was thinking about doing the Smores kits (we're getting married July 5th and when I think summer, I think smores) but not sure if it's good or not.

Thoughts, suggestions???

I love the smores idea! Very cute and very delicious. An edible favor is the only way to go IMO.

Holy smokes! I'm getting married July 5th and we're doing s'mores!!!! Now that's crazy! We are pairing them with a donation to the American Cancer Society (FH lost his mother to lung cancer almost 5 years ago and cancer is in my family as well so this was important to us). I haven't figured out how much it'll cost OR how exactly to package them but one of these up coming weekends I'm going to experiment with packaging. I just know it can't be completed too early or things will go stale.

we used sandwich bags but without the plastic piece. they cheapy ones
the marshmallows were maybe $4 for 2 bags
chocolate my sister couponed for so it was cheap
and graham crackers were cheap too.
we used a string that was similar to the one in that pinterest picture but we got it at michaels. it looked 'rope'-y but was ribbon.
i would suggest getting a better bag if possible and if you are making them a week or something in advance.

this was only for 50 or so.
