giving them out? I know most people are putting them on each table. I thought 1 per couple, but I have some people going solo too. I haven't done my seating chart yet, so they'll be mixed.
I was thinking old school, where you would hand them out at the end of the night. Usually everyone gives their 'envelope' to the couple.
I don't know what to do

Re: Favors - How are you....
you may be too busy to hand them out at the end of the night (unless you plan on letting someone else do it for you)....Im actually putting them on each table and hoping it works out....

I am not giving our favors but at almost all of the weddings I've been to lately (and I have been to a lot!), they are waiting on the tables.

i was going to put one on each seat (on the table obviously) but my mother said it should really be one per couple... then i thought she was right, but i think i might do that.. having a couple extra just in case some ppl dont bring a date...

Re: Favors - How are you....
It depends on the favor...if its a household thing for example such as salt and pepper shakers then yes its per couple bc no point to give them 2 sets. If its edible such as a candy apple for example or box of truffles then you give it to each person...its hard to say oh it HAS to be by couple or HAS to be individual bc it all depends on the favor itself. And even if you give out favors per couple, you give the same favor to a person who is solo

I had bookmarks (from St.Judes stating they we donated $) for every person and then the two peas in a pod salt and pepper shakers per couple

Re: Favors - How are you....
On the table. I have to give the RH a count of favors per table, so my table of singles will have a lot on it. Easier than having to hand them out at the end of the day. Takes up too much time to hand them out - I have 87 to give out - and I want to enjoy every minute of my party.

i had trouble with this one too, but i just put however many was needed at each table. so if i have 4 couples and 1 single then i put 5 on a table.

Re: Favors - How are you....
i am having a box of favors - so it is going on a seperate table to be taken out at the end of the night. It is one box per couple (two pint glasses, two coasters and some candy)
