Favors - One per couple logistics

Does anyone know how it works when you do one favor per couple? Do you put the favors at the dinner table, or set up a separate area to display them and have them take one?

Favors - One per couple logistics

I had the couples name on the favor and had it at a table where they picked up their own. You can leave it at the table to if you want. There is no wrong way.
