favors question - Long Island Weddings

I think it depends on the type of favor. If it's edible then per person and if it's like salt and pepper shakers or wine stoppers or something then per couple.

favors question - Long Island Weddings

For maple syrup, if they're little bottles, I'd say one per person. I don't know how much they are, but I don't think it's unusual to spend $500 or even more on favors.

You can also look at it as if a couple is married/living together then give 1 for the two of them. If they are just dating then you can give them each one? I plan on doing one per couple but if I have extra which I think I will I will just scatter them on the table or just put them in a basket somewhere so if people wanted their own they can take it.
