Well, ever since I got my BFP all I can think about is the possibility of miscarriage. I am running to the bathroom every 5 minutes to check for blood. Has anyone else experienced this anxiety? Does anyone have any insight that could help? I would really appreciate it. I don't want to ruin this experience for myself.

Re: Fear of miscarriage
I was definetly like that, I was constantly running to the bathroom andchecking- heck I still am. I was kinda afraid to tell anyone- God forbid something would happen. I still feel this way. After the first sono I felt 10X better but now I feel like this again, partly becuase I didnt have any severe morning sickness and many of my symptoms come and go. I am also a worry wort.

I remember I was like that - all you can do is just relax - try to stop thinking about it and take care of yourself. But I too, am a worry wart!

Re: Fear of miscarriage
I guess those of us who are worry warts just have to try to put this out of our minds.

I was the same way. It's hard not to worry. My doctor doesn't do a sonogram until 20 weeks, so I was so releaved when I heard the heartbeat at week 13. I think worry is natural until you can start feeling the baby move.

I am 33 weeks and I still check for bleeding when I go to the bathroom! That miscarriage I had and the bleeding I had at 12 weeks really threw me for a loop. Just think positive and you should be fine!

I was the same way in the beginning and then after Jack was born I was always checking to make sure he was still breathing. Like all things your worry will pass.

I know, but worrying about it is not going to help. I had a miscarriage and then conceived my son 7 months after it. try losing your mind by thinking of other things instead. Key to it alli s relax

Re: Fear of miscarriage
I had a miscarriage in Feb and I would say until I went into my second trimester I have had some nervousness and still do (just not as bad) with this pregnancy. But you cannot stress yourself out over it, that is not good for the baby yet either.

I was the same way. I still worry, if I don't feel the baby move for awhile, I wonder if everything is OK. It is hard not to worry. Glad to hear that I am not the only one.
