We went to look yesterday for tuxes, but got distracted by the sale at WILSON'S LEATHER where I bought two leather jackets and ran out of time. There was a home game for teh RANGERS that we needed to get back for...
We are going to go back one night this week and pick them out.
Then all I need are some guys to wear them and I am back on track...
Are you getting programs? If you want to make them, I just found some templates if you want me to forward them to you?

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?

I don't think we're getting married on site...although if I don't make any headway with the church this week, I might. I'm CAtholic and the churches we called have been very difficult, even rude!
Oh, and we bought a farmer's almanac--it predicts sunny & mild for Feb. 10-12; cold and sunny in south, snow showers in north for FEb. 13-19...but, keep in mind that's the entire greater new york & Nj, so that means snow in Westchester. I doubt it'll hit LI. HOneymoon is still in the air for us too--either he's moving to NY or I'm moving to London right after the wedding, so trying to fit in a honeymoon will be difficult. But, if i'm moving to London, we may take the train to Paris and spend a few days there. Cold, but romantic :)
And alias...is one of those jackets white?? You can wear it on the big day

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?
Hi ladies! Sounds like planning for all is moving right along. I know I have said this before , but I can not believe how the time seems to be slipping through my fingers. I am also sending out my invitations early to avoid the Holiday card rush. Ladies i have to admit , Ilooked at my reg. and there are lots of stuff missing! Iam so exicted. I have no idea when my shower is but my mother told me she would tell me the day before. I am getting so excited! Everyone keep up the good work! Keep in touch!

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?
Hi Girls!!! Boy is February coming fast. We are going this week to pick out our menu. We are also going to star stuffing the invitations because we are sending them out the second week of November to avoid the holiday rush and so I can get them back early to do all the seating and favors and other fun stuff. I am so excited. I am a little worried about my dress though, silly me bought a strapless and I said I didn't care if it was cold, I would be fine, but lately it has been cold already and I have been wearing turtlenecks and fleeces and I have been freezing. I guess I better go buy a cape or something. I also had my shower yesterday, so watch out girls, you could be next. I got so much stuff. I haven't even had a chance to go through it all yet. It is all in my room at my moms. I have to go there this week and organize stuff and find stuff that was thrown in bags. I also have to finish unwrapping some stuff that I didn't get to open at the shower(Just doubles that people told me what they were to save time, my china sets) (I posted pics on BHB) Plus, now I have to write thank you's and I have about 15 papers to work on for school. So things are certainly getting crazy now, but hopefully I will survive. I hope everyone is doing well. Let me know if anyone needs help, I am sure I can find some time!!!

You are probably feeling the same way I do :) ....It's funny, you rush to book the hall and then noone from the reception hall gets in touch with you. It feels funny. the florists ask me where I want the flowers and I feel like I don't even know the place where I am getting married, I only went there twice for short periods of time . Ask your place when you can have a food tasting. I am going back on Nov 5 for that :)

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?
Things have gone pretty smooth so far. But I still have to book my limousines. I have an appointment this week. So i just want to get it over with already. I am going for my makeup trial next week and I feel pretty good about that but i still have not finalized the hair. So i am feeling a little concerned about the hair. My bridal shower was on the 11 of October and it was so wonderful. My family and friends did such a great job. And it really did make it feel even more real..
Is anyone concerned about the weather?

A light snow won't be horrible, but that's IT ...how even more spectacular if it turns out be 70 degrees :) Miracles do happen :)

Girls, what are you doing for favors? I am considering improvising and making mini cakes out of cookies. Any other ideas out there?

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?
Alias - Yes I am at CB the week before you. We were originally looking to book the day before you. Isn't it an awesome place? We're in the Europa and Normandy rooms where are you guys going to be?
And I'm mailing my invites Dec. 1st which will be that day after my shower.
Can't believe it's right around the corner already. I just got my veil from vision veils delivered today.
Did you try your veil on before you purchased it or did you just order it online?

Re: Feb. Brides, Where are you?
Sp04 - I already knew what I wanted but I went to the bridal salon to try on veils of the specific lengths that I wanted, just to be sure. Then I called up and ordered it. I asked the lady at the bridal salon how much it would be for them to make it there and she said it would be $200 and it would take a month. Vision veils charged me $95 and I had it in my hands in less than a week.
