i'm sorry sandy! maybe you should have a serious discussion with your FH about your thoughts. not an argument, just a talk and try to get things back to the way that they were.

do a date night or plan a romantic evening, etc.

if you need to vent, we're always here

Take a step back from the planning. Just talk 'us' and the things you love about each other. Plan a date night and the happiness it bring to each of you.

Re: fed up

I am so sorry u are feeling this way. I just had a fight with FH over the wedding too. The more we start booking things, the more nervous he gets about being able to pay for everything. He worries and stress me out the most because I am always trying to stay postivie when he starts getting negative. The closer we get to the wedding the more he stresses out. I can only imagine how stressed out u and ur FH must be since u are getting married in jan!!

What u can do is take a weekend to not do any wedding planning and be the couple u used to be. Try to remember why u guys lovve each other and why he proposed and why u said yes. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, u guys will feel less stressed and angry at each other.

The crazy thing about wedding planning is how it can bring the worst out of any relationship :(

Good luck!

I tend to think of this wedding planning thing as a crash course in everything good and bad that can happen in a relationship. You're making important decisons together, entering contracts together, spending tons of money together, alll things that are going to happen over the lifetime you're going to spend together. The only problem is that its concentrated in a very short amount of time. I think the second guessing thing is normal, it's only human to wonder if the 'grass is greener' . Focus on what has made you happy throughout this process, and hopefully that will get you both through it.

**remind me to reference this 2 months before my wedding.

I'm sorry. Try taking some time off from the planning for a bit (and LIW!) and try focusing more attention on the FH. I think sometimes they are more overwhelmed than we know.

Re: fed up

Awww I'm sorry you are going through this! Maybe you should take a break from all of the wedding planning. Also, maybe when your with FH stay away from talking about the wedding for a bit. I've reached my breaking point before where things weren't going the way I thought they would. I followed the advice that when you see FH try to talk about everything but the wedding. Especially since once the wedding comes, you won't be fighting over those things anymore. It has worked for us. There were times when we were fighting over getting married in a church, price of photographer, or even where we are going to live after the wedding. When those times were happening, I took a step back and let it go a couple of days. You know what? It ended up working out in the end.

Try to hang in there and remember why you and your FH are together. Think about the positive things and try to avoid always talking about wedding things. I hope this helps!

Re: fed up

I think men just think of the wedding as a big expensive party while we tend to think of it as the sendoff to our new lives as a married couple.

So hes thinking of money while we sort of put it as an important part of our marriage.

Just take a step back for a bit and concentrate in you guys. See a movie, go to dinner, do something silly together and dont talk about the wedding.

If you need a shoulder im here
