I'm not going to panic...YET. But my invitations were shipped via FedEx ground last Tuesday, with an estimated arrival date of tomorrow, 8/25. For a day, there was lots of tracking, from one local facility, to the next, to the next, until Wednesday afternoon where it said it departed Portland, OR.
And that's been the last tracking!!! I'm assuming it's been on a truck cross-country since then, and not being scanned through any FedEx facilities, but I really don't like not seeing daily tracking updates.
I guess I'll start to panic tomorrow if they're not at my house when I get home, but has anyone else had the same experience when something just had no updates for almost a week stretch?

I'm waiting for my new netbook and fedex still has it in China. They didn't update for a few days and today it says it's still in China... with an estimated delivery date of Wednesday at 10:30 am. Not sure how that's happening, or why it's spent 2 days in China...
But I wouldn't worry about it. They're usually dead-on with their delivery dates.

I think you should still be ok. Don't panic until it's after the due date.
My invites are set to arrive today!! I can't wait!!!

Well that makes me feel a little better...I'm CONSTANTLY using UPS at work, and they're my preferred carrier, so I'm weary fo FedEx to begin with, but if this seems to be normal then I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

yea i use both at work, ups updates their site more frequently and fed ex is not as good at that

im sure it will all work out..we willpanic if we have to
besides u can always tell fed ex if they mess it up u have a large group of brides that will make them regret it

Yup, and then it arrived at my house later that night - so you never can tell! I wouldn't panic until Wednesday!

It probably won't get scanned again until it arrives in the facility in NY tonight. It will have been on a truck and not individually scanned until it goes out for delivery. Don't worry about it!

Don't stress - that's the way Fed Ex updates. It makes me crazy too, but I've never had a problem with something not being delivered on time.

Don't worry, I went thru the same thing waiting for a ground delivery from California. Like you said, it is in a truck and not being scanned. You probably won't see any activity until late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Once it gets to the NY/NJ area, it will be checked into the sorting facility and scanned, then tomorrow you should see those beautiful words 'Out for Delivery'
