If any of you wouldn't mind sharing I was wondering how much those of you having a cantor spent? I just want to make sure we're not being charged too much. TIA :) You can FM if you don't want to disclose.

It really varies. Sometimes if you (or your parents) are a member of the congregation that your Cantor works for, there might be a deal already. In my case, I'm getting married in a temple. I have to pay for the temple's fee and rabbi, whether or not I use him. So using my own rabbi and/or cantor means I'm paying for 2 or 3 officiants, even the temple one that I'm not using. So in your case, consider paying for only 1 cantor a bargain!
A ballpark number? Around $500-$600. How much are you paying?
