Feedback and thoughts on Crest Hollow CC

Hey everyone!
Right now my #1 choice is Marina DelRey in the Bronx for our 2008. Last night we went to check out Crest Hollow CC & my FH really likes it. The grounds are beautiful...
thoughts, insight, good feedback, bad feedback..help!??

I have a friend who is VERY picky! She has something negative to say about every RH on Long Island and even she can't come up with something negative to say about Marina DelRay.
I have never been there, but I hear that it is amazing!

Im getting married there in October and I have not had a negative experience yet. The person I have been dealing with is Sharon and shes amazing!

Leena, I'm also dealing with Sharon and yes, she is wonderful by far..I known of people that been to CCHC and they raved about how it was..so that's why I chose it too and my FH loves that place..I esp like the grounds..

I'm getting married at the CHCC in November. I think they offer a lot of bang for your buck. And the grounds are so beautiful--and so big! I've also heard the food is good.

I'm getting married there in jan of 09.. my fh also fell in lov with the place and so did i.. i was determined to see every other possible hall, lol. but all of them i went to seemed dark by comparison to the light open airy feeling i got at chcc.. i'm working with mitch and i love it.. he gave me everything i wanted and for an AWESOME price.. they also throw in a free martini bar if u register at fortunuff.. not sure why.. cause u can always get a martini at the regualr bar but if u got folks who like martini's a whole lot i guess it's nice to have a separate bar.. lol.

i'm thrilled bout the place!!

oh my goodness i was there two nights ago and they had a corporate function going on.. the food smelled SOOO good.. i had to ask the bm uh... what are they eating.. can we get that at the reception..

I got married there this past November and everything went very smooth. I am still getting compliments!
We were very satisfied.

oh my goodness i was there two nights ago and they had a corporate function going on.. the food smelled SOOO good.. i had to ask the bm uh... what are they eating.. can we get that at the reception..

I was there for the event....(it was the BOLI awards...Best of LI in design/print/advertising) & everything was actually really great, I had been to a friends wedding there about 2 years ago & wasn't that impressed. The other night though, the CH was small but probably b/c it was a corp. event but the salad at dinner was SO YUMMY,it had oranges/cranberried/candied walnuts/gorgonzola cheese...hmmm so good! The entree was really good & since I don't like salmon they were great about giving me double filet mignon! For dessert they had a haagen-Dazs ice cream thing....OMG I ate the whole thing! lol The staff was great & at one point the line at the bar was gettinglong but within seconds of seeing it......the Maitre D jumped right on the bar and helped out!

& that upstairs middle room, is really pretty and HUGE!

It's so nice to hear all this positive feedback on CHCC

yes that was the event.. teh BOLI.. oh my goodness i was SOO SOLD after that.. it smelled DELICIOUS IN THERE!! the ch room was small you say? i still haven't seen that room... lol. there is always something going on in that room.. (over looks the pool right?)

I am getting married there too! I have only heard good things about that place and I can't wait to have my wedding there!

no not the plaza..i think the room next door to the plaza.. the garden terrace? overlooks the pool they use it for ch.. right across the hall from the ballroom..

do you know which room you'll be using? i like the plaza.. but i also liked the starlight.. my bm recommended the plaza -i think that's the name.. it's the with the window at the end instead of all along the sides.. cause he said since i'll be in the winter if there is a storm we can close the window.. rather than have it open and have folks looking out all night thinking wow the weather is getting bad.. we should get on the road..
