To all first time mommies out there, I need some help...My baby is 3 weeks old. How much formula do you think he should eat at each feeding...Right now he's about 9 lbs 5 oz. I feel so confused right now and hear so many different things from different people. Any help would be very appreciated

Re: Feeding
I didnt bottle feed BUT you cant over feed a newborn. They know when they are hungry and know when they are full. SOOOO going by that you should feed him till hes full and measure from there.

Re: Feeding
I second that advice - I think it's usually like 2 oz or even less...but read the baby's cues to you!

Re: Feeding
Average is 2-4 ounces at 3weeks.

Re: Feeding
I agree with the 2oz. average. There is a common rule of thumb but I firget it already. Youmay want to chek babycenter. It tells you how to figure out how many ounces per day based on weight.
