We scheduled our little trip to Florida before he moved to the midnight shift. Yesterday he had to work a double shift from 3:30pm to 8am so that he was able to go. Well... at the end of his shift he had 2 arrests.... Now he is still at work from last night! He said he may be able to come home for a few hours but then has to leave to go back to work at 10pm tonight.
The OT will be great but 3 shifts in a row is killer!

wow it sucks
i can imagie how he feels... my FH does over night and goes to school full time. Thurs into fri is his worst he will be up by 9 00am for school all day then work from 10pm till 8 am fri morn. so i am sure he feels his pain...
all i can say 5 hour energy shots

No one wanted the arrests. He figured what the hell he would make the extra money! I will be excited when the extra money goes into the wedding fund!
He is on his way home now and going to crash. I told him I will make him macaroni and cheese (his favorite) from scratch when I get home!

aww boo like two weeks ago i worked an ot shift (8am-5pm) my normal shift (530pm-2am) got an arrest (didnt get out til 6am processing) had to do a day to speak to ada (7am-3) went home passed out missed dinner =( ate it for my brunch when i finally got up around noon! lol but $$$$$$$

Unfortunately, they LOVE to tax that extra $$$$$, so only count on about half of it going into your pockets! It's really terrible how much they take.
