I'm feeling a little down, I know that I have only been engaged for three weeks, but I feel a little behind... as far as booking our RH. Some of us 09ers have alreay gotten dresses, churches and everything... Im getting worried that when I am ready to book what I want won't be available... I am I being silly?

I'm an 08er and have only booked RH. Take your time and enjoy everything. People go at their own pace. When I first was engaged I thought I was behind, now I realize I may be but it hasn't been any problem. There's plenty of time to get everything done.

Just take your time with it Stephanie and enjoy being engaged! I only booked my RH and church because I wanted a date and that would put me at ease but that's me. As far as everything else, I'm not doing anything for at least another year or so. Don't worry, you'll still have a lot of options when it comes time to book!

When you think about it, we have plenty of time! We have 2 years! The only reason why I am booking next month is because we have to have a specifc date in July due to my fiances job.

You are not behind in any way!! I just booked the church and RH because we needed a specific date. We arent even looking at any other vendors until the end of the summer!

Hey just enjoy it! I have been engaged for 4 months and havent done ANYTHING LOL. I was feeling behind but then I realized I shouldn't stress and it should be fun. Just enjoy looking online and stuff...get ideas and then start doing stuff. Have fun!

Do not feel like that! You do things when your ready! and dont ever feel down ! enjoy every second of your engagment - this is such a wonderful time for you and your fh! Dont worry there will still be rh & dresses when ur ready, and remember whats meant to be will be so dont stress!

You are not behind at all. The obly thing I've booked was the RH & that's because when I start school in the Fall I won't have time to run around doing it. For me that was a big chunk of the planning. Now I can start to work on my STD cards & other stuff I can research on the boards.

You aren't behind at all! Try not to get caught up in timelines and compare yourself to what everyone else is doing. We all work at our own pace....have fun with it! No matter how behind or ahead you are, your wedding day is going ot be great!

Sorry for crashing, but Dont Worry!! You have plenty of time! There are girls on these boards that have planned weddings in 6 months or less Its completely do-able. You have so much time that you will actually get to enjoy planning and not be frantically trying to do everything at once. Im an 08er, I have done absolutely NOTHING because I just want to enjoy it for a little while. So take a deep breath and relax and just enjoy being engaged!
I get the same way sometimes, I have planned it by seasons lately that way I'm not focused on months and days going by. For example, the summer I will do some vendor booking and winter I will order flowers and favor ideas.

RELAX!!! - this is a great time enjoy it!!!! 3 weeks I was still on cloud nine...you have plenty of time...and just so you know I tried to get things done like the church and they won't even let me book it because I'm too early they won't get the book in until august for 2009 weddings!!! so now I'm sitting back and waiting a bit...I have the reception hall and that was all I was worried about...BUT it took me a year to book that too! I put things off as you can tell.

I'm crashing from the '07 board, and I wanted to tell you not to worry. I got engaged one year out from the wedding day so most of my vendors, with the exception of the Church & RH, were booked around the nine month mark. I have less than 5 months left & there are still a few things I need to book.

Enjoy being on your cloud for a while! You have pleanty of time
After you come off your cloud you can begin to plan, a few suggestions tho,
- decide on a budget first - Have an idea of your guestlist
