FEELING REALLY ANGRY....need to vent

I don't know if it's because the wedding is only a few months away and I am feeling like I am under SO MUCH pressure...but I am feeling SO angry lately and all FH and I do is fight!!!!!!

My FFIL has been sick for the last few months and FH has devoted A LOT of his time to his dad--which I COMPLETELY understand!!! I just feel though that sometimes I am alone in this planning process and that FH has to take care of his family all on his own, meanwhile he has two older brothers who definitely do NOT do as much!

I feel sorry for FH because he really tries to please me and his family, but I can't help but feel a little 'bratty' when it comes to the whole situation, like 'I'm planning my wedding and no one cares!!' Sometimes I feel a total bridezilla moment and I totally supress it because I am so ashamed.


However, one thing I am NOT ashamed to be upset about:
Anyway, FMIL also bought the most HIDEOUS dress for our wedding 'on sale' . When I went to see it, it was an ugly brown color and was TOTALLY plain, which is FINE, but the dress is OBVIOUSLY a summer dress--the material is so light. When I mentioned this to her, she said, 'Oh I will just wear a coat over it or something--I mean really, it's just ONE DAY? People make such a big deal over just ONE DAY?'

I'm like..ummmmm..it's your SONS WEDDING--it's not just ONE DAY!!!!!

Anyway, just needed to vent.....I'm going off to cry now.

Awww don't cry!! Everyone feels the same way as you every once in awhile during this process. My Mom is just like you FMIL... She keeps telling me it's just one day, and we shouldn't spend so much on just one day. I'm like, it's our WEDDING... but I've learned to just deal with it. She finally stopped saying that we should just elope... so that's a good thing. Hang in there... you're gonna have a wonderful wedding soon enough, and then be back to reality.

Aww penny!! Hang in there sweetheart...just take deep breaths...everything will get done and you and FH will be fine...try to remember and focus on what the wedding is...a celebration of your love..never lose sight of that! Take a deep breath, take some time with FH!

As for the ugly dress..it ***** but unfortunately some people just don't get it! FM me if you need anything!

As for FH I think its juist a guy thing. There is nooone sick in our family and I feel the same way you do sometimes. I would love him to help me a lil...he will help me once and it will be the wrong thing and hell be like ok im not helping and im like babe its just one thing. Its annoying even like sometimes hell be like do this this this and this. I really dont think they get how much goes into this. One day we were fighting about it and im like I go on the computer every night to try and make sure our wedding comes out just like we wanted, and hes like noooo your on your website. Keep in mind we dont live together so he has no idea what I do he just assumes I do nothing lollll god I hate them hahahahahhah. But in closing lol I feel like how your feeling is normal

Ugh, Dani--I'm glad your mom has stopped saying you should elope! OMG, I'm not sure I would be able to handle it if my mom said something like that, so you must be a strong girl for handling it so well!!!

Lauren, thanks babe!! You're right--we have to stay focused on what REALLY counts.....our love!!

OMG, it's even worse when you live together. FH sees everything I do all the time

But you're right--they are all the same.

And oh yeah, I told FH that his mother's dress is ugly and that he needs to tell her (in a nice way) that my mom's dress is going to be much fancier, so in case she wants to not feel left out.

I think somethings in the air....

I've been feeling like sh*t the past week and I cant seem to come out of it. And the crazy thing is, NOTHING is going on right now....

yeah, I keep trying to remember how HER wedding was in the mid 60s... only about 30 people inside a bar.... and her dress was knee length! HAHA. I think she's cathcing on the way I want my wedding is COMPLETELY opposite then hers... HAHA. I think it will all pay off in the end! YAY
