Feeling sad........(kinda long)

Hi girls!

I had my bachelorette party last night and I had the best time ever! We went to AC and stayed at the Borgata and everything just went so well. All my 13 friend made it and we just partied, gambled and had a uch a blast!

However I find myself feeling so sad that it is over. I was actually just crying for awhile and cannot understand what this post-bachelorette depression is about!

I think it is a combination of different feelings.

1 - Our engagement is short....got engaged 12/1/07 (not a bad thing but everything is flying by so fast)

2 - Last night was so fun but I drank too much and things were a little blurry. I guess that is supposed to happen but I am wishing I was a little more cohorent!

3 - After the club I was tired and ready to go to the room, however I found myself gambling on the roulette table for several hours (till 5am). Some friend went back and crashed and some hung around and kept checking on me but I was totally contempt by myself....but now I am sad that I didnt stay with my friend for those 2 hours!

4 - The total cost of the trip was $200+ per person. Not too much but I am feeling guilty for making them spend that much. A few people were without a bed (because we crammed into 2 rooms). But we knew that going in and so I brought an air mattress but I still feel bad that 2 people slept on the floor! (Also someone else was supposed to bring an air mattress but forgot??)

5 - Everything is just flying by and I am realizing that the shower i gonna come and go and so will the wedding. I am just so sad at how fast things are going! What the heck is wrong with me!!?!?! Why am I crying????

Maybe bc I am also still hungover and feel yucky.

PS - On a brighter note I got to party with Bella77!!!!!

I think its totally normal to get melancholy and introspective around a major life changing event like a wedding!

I go through that from time to time just about normal things. I think its just something we should expect from ourselves as these wedding milestones take place. I am really glad you had a great time the Borgatta is excellent

Aww sweety - don't be down. These are the events you've been dreaming about and planning for, for quite some time and now that one aspect of it is over you're feeling a little down because it went so fast. And because it went so fast you might be second guessing yourself that maybe you should have done things differently.

You'll feel a little down after the shower and maybe even after the wedding. You have all these people that love you in your life every day but they're around more often now because of your wedding and it will be a little sad when everythings over.

I'm just rambling and I hope it makes sense, but basically what I'm trying to say is what you're feeling is natural and you shouldn't second guess yourself and never regret anything!

awwww jenn

i'm glad you made it home safe.
i understand about the money thing, i felt kinda guilty about my girls spending so much this weekend too but i'm sure they were just happy to be there and celebrating.

time flies so just make sure you enjoy every moment!

you're probably just super emotional because of you're hangover! i know there is still alcohol in my system.

it was fun hanging out with you last night!

I think it's perfectly natural to feel that way! You had a great time and didn't want it to end.
