When you're right, you're right

The Mets crashed and burned as you predicted

doesn't really matter, I have Time Warner cable, so I can't see the games anyway

Well I wasn't going to bring it up .. but well heck, what can I say??

Luckily for my HUSBAND, we were without much access to any sports coverage or info throughout our HM, so he didn't witness firsthand the Mets crashing and burning. He still had SOME hope, more or less...

Though when we were in the Bahamas on the last stop of our cruise, a sweet Bahamian lady who was an avid BRAVES fan was gleefully talking about her team , etc .. so my DH was made painfully aware of their downfall...

Actually, he is quite over it. And hey, at least ONE of us are happy!

yeah, baseball is behind me and football is in front of me!!!

right ...

'there's always next year ..............'

I guess lucky for our (and our relationship) neither DH nor I are football fans whatsoever... [whew...]

and let me ask you this...

when the Yankee fans lost the YES Network, everyone is up in arms -- Pataki and Bloomberg got involved and made the 2 sides reach an agreement

where's the support for the Mets and its fand from our local gov't
