Felicia - Westchester Question
I don't know if you know anything about this because it's local - but whatever happened with that couple (the dentist) who was going to get in trouble because they had the beer bash for their high school aged child and all their friends? I was talking about that with someone the other day.

Re: Felicia - Westchester Question
I haven't heard much about it either , unless I missed something.I know they the Westchester DA intends on pursuing the case, however .. she is not backing down! The couple got separate attorneys to represent each other
But I'm not sure of the status , where things stand, etc.

Re: Felicia - Westchester Question
Do people talk about it? What is the feeling? Do people think they should be prosecuted?

Re: Felicia - Westchester Question
I do remember when the case first hit the newspapers, it was all the talk on my train ..because I take the train from Scarsdale, the general area where the couple lived. The general consenus was that some pepole felt that Jeanine Pirro, the Westch. County DA, was just making a point and was on the warpath and needed to up the antie..and was pursuing this case for publicity (she has policial aspirations on a much higher level) .. there are VERY strong opinions about her on a whole - some love her, some hate her
That said everyone I overheard talking about it thought that the DA was overreacting and that the couple shouldn't have been arrested. But maybe its because it hit too close to home for them? I dunno, personally I think it was ridicluous that they had SO many kids in their house drinking alcohol, but in another breath was it not safer to have them THERE than roaming the streets drunk ?
So many ways to debate it...
