FeliciaDA and all Yankee fans

Hey FleiciaDA (and you Yankee fans can read this too)

As some of you may know (or maybe not) Felicia, probably the biggest Yankee fan on the boards and myself made a little wager on the subway series. The bet was this: the winner was determined by the number of runs scored by each team over the 6 games played. Obviously, Felicia would win if the Yankees scored more runs than the Mets and vice versa. That said, here are the total number of runs broken down by game

Game 1 Mets 9 Yankees 3
Game 2 Mets 1 Yankees 8
Game 3 Mets 6 Yankees 11
Game 4 Mets 11 Yankees 2
Game 5 Mets 10 Yankees 9
Game 6 Mets 6 Yankees 5

Total Number of runs for the Mets: 43
Total Number of runs for the Yankees: 38

That means that I win and according to the terms of the bet, Felicia must now take a picture of herself adorned in a met t-shirt or jersey and a Met hat and post that pic as her avatar pic for one week. In addition, her avatar saying must say 'Let's Go Mets!' for one entire week.

Truly a glorious day for the Met fans. Sorry Felicia - -I know this is killin ya -- but a bet is a bet

Heheheh... NICE.


Oh... and in case she doesn't have a Met Jersey to take a pic in... I would GLADLY lend her my #31 jersey in my avatar pic for her to use for her picture.

I am sure other Met fans will follow suit as well.

and if I were a yankee fan, I'd probably say the exact same stuff to a Met fan today. That's kind of the company line right now.

So I expect this reaction.

Nevertheless.. we took Mussina and Vazquez and we let them have it.. and it IS about time the Mets crammed it back down the Yankee fans throats.

What happens in October.. I don't know. Who would have thought the Angels and Marlins would have won the WS the last two years?

but right now.. whatever the case..
this is sweet...
and us Met fans are gonna enjoy it!

Actually, I've met you as well (I thought you looked familiar but couldn't place it..I met you at the Dodge Intrepid softball game in Queens last summer ) When he was taking my pic for my avatar and watching me online, he saw your post and said 'hey, I know that guy!'

Rich - Anthony wants to know 'why you are spending so much time on a wedding board when you aren't on DodgeMagnum.net?' (DjPill is a moderator on my FH's website ... )

And to answer your question about DM.net... I do check in there and browse the site. Not as often as I should... I know.

The problem is I am on this site alot... because frankly my girl is a lazy *** when it comes to planning for this wedding so I have the burden of doing all the work. But thats OK cause I don't mind. Her sister's wedding is in two weeks and I think she is waiting to do planning till after thats over (out of respect I guess).

Can I just ask since it was only 3 games...when can we let this all rest?

I hear ya, Donna ... believe me this is NOT easy for me to post my mug attired in METS garb .. I WISH they could let it rest, but I doubt it. Then again, if it were the reverse situation, I doubt I'd let it rest anytime soon either

but until Don has his say, I doubt us Yankee fans will be hearing the end of this anytime in the near future

nah -- i've had my say and I won't have much to say about the Yanks till October -- right now, I'm more concerned with the Phillies
