The button thing likely could be changed back during alterations, but the change in fabric for the details are likely more complex. I will say that trying to get the original version, which you're most likely legally entitled to, would be such a huge headache it wouldn't be worth it...

yeah, that's NOT good... I would really try to find out if they can produce YOUR dress the same exact way it was when you ordered it! Or if they can't, for them to add to your contract that the alterations to make it back into the original design will be FREE but any other alterations will be at your expense... get it in writing.
