How do people feel about having a female photographer as the directing photographer on the wedding day?

My sister used a female photographer and her pics were some of the best that I'd ever seen. And the only reason why I'm not using her is because I can't afford her.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED MY PHOTOGRAPHER!!!! SHE WAS SO AMAZING TO WORK WITH AND SHE WAS SO SWEET!!! I love the way my proofs came out...check out my album! TRUST ME!!! Personally, I think its just a comfort level, particularly when you're getting dressed.
I do agree that as long as they're a good photog it really dosen't matter whether they're male or female but MHO, I liked the fact that she was a chick
