Today is sometimes recognized as 'International Left-Hander's Day,' allowing me to reflect on some of the standard Feng Shui 101 adjustments and cures that have to do with the left hand or left arm. For example, it has long been held that if you are looking for love and want to hurry that effort along, you should wear two rose quartz bracelets on your left arm. Or, if you want to grab some fast luck, you should wear a silver ring on your left thumb. Then there is the Chinese 'good luck knot' a most auspicious symbol of the Orient that is still seen today adorning the clothes of holy men and monks as well as on and in the temple drapes. This knot is known to be tied all and only with the left hand, a Herculean feat. Hanging either this knot or an image of what's known as 'The Double Happiness' symbol in the 'Relationship' area of your bedroom is thought to bring wedding luck to anyone looking for romance, relationships and love. Don't ever let the left hand know what the right one is doing, except, of course, in this case when it will, apparently, be given in matrimony!
