I know this is a TTC question but i don't want just the people who are TTC to answer so i am asking here....
Would you use them?

Re: Fertility Pills
YES. Not sure if DH feels the same though, he doesn't think of these things the way I do - right now at least ...

Re: Fertility Pills
I really don't think i would...it isn't that i would be worried that i might have multiple births but i feel that a lot of other issues arise from it

Re: Fertility Pills
I always thought no. It seeemed wierd & unnatural, especially when it leads to sextuplets!
Now, older & married. ..I might. I think I may have problems & if drugs were reccomended as a first step I would probabaly try it, but not go for more extensive fertility treatments.

I think I'd have to do a lot of research & not use anything too new.

Re: Fertility Pills
After almost 2 years have trying to have a baby, I can honestly say YES! I have done my research and I feel safe in my decision. I think this is one of those topics that you think you know what you would do, BUT you have no idea unless you are in the situation.

Re: Fertility Pills
I don't know. I have always thought that as much as I want kids, I don't know what kind of means I would go to in order to have them. But I also know that once we decide to try my perspective might change.

Re: Fertility Pills
I think if you have fertility issues, there is no problem using fertility drugs. I do not ovulate on my own due to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I need to use fertilty drugs in order to ovulate to possibly have a child. I would never use the drugs to just increase my chances of multiple births.

Re: Fertility Pills
After trying to conceive naturally doesn't work for a period of time, I would use fertility drugs. I don't think I'd go further that that (in vitro, etc.), but I think I would use the drugs...as long as I could afford them.

100% yes. With my luck I would have a litter of babies instead of just 1 or 2. What do you do with SIX or SEVEN babies???!~!?

Re: Fertility Pills
I just want to clarify, if you are talking about *pills* then there is a SLIGHT chance of twins or triplets...the chance for any number greater than three is slim to none. Concieving a greater number than three is usually a result of injectables and such.

Re: Fertility Pills
I was one of those people who never thought I would - for that matter I never thought I would even need them - I got lucky with my first - but I was younger than - now I'm 33 going on 34 and we were having a hard time - so I did use them. I feel you do what you need to do.

I absolutely agree...
I never, never thought I would be in that situation, but here I am , waaaaaaaaaaaay past the 'pill' point and I am still continuing on.
oct.2004bride, I'm just curious at what other issues you feel arise from it? Do you mean health issues, religious issues, moral issues, etc?

health issues..i fear it...I know a handful of people who used fertility pills had twins and had health related issues!
