I actually made them out of cardboard gift boxes I bought at a Hallmark store for $.75 each. I covered the outside of the box with satin. I then took the Blue thick ribbon and glued it into the inside of the box to make the handle. I then cut 4 side pieces of cardboard and a bottom piece and covered them with a small amount of batting and some satin and glued them in to the inside of the box to give it a finished look.

After everything was dry I applied the ribbon around the edges with a hot glue gun.

In this photo you can kind of see how I did the inside.
