FG dress - match Bridal Gown?

FG dress - match Bridal Gown?

I found a FG dress that almost exactly matches my gown! I have two questions - should it match? AND...does this dress look too mature for two little girls (ages 3 1/2 and 7)?

I think it's really up to you....I decided I wanted my girls to just look like pretty little girls, so their dresses will be white with the sash matching the BM dresses, but not floor length (basically tank style top with a poufy skirt, but not floor length)....I also am just doing a cute hair clip or headband for them, not getting their hair all done up. I feel that they're beautiful as they are and I would rather they look like sweet little girls than just like me....and I do feel that that dress is a tad mature for such young girls! But, many brides do that and whatever you choose will be gorgeous!

Oh I think it is perfect. It does not HAVE to match but I think if you find something that does you should go for it. I know I will.

I found another dress that is plain white satin with a sage green sash to match the bridesmaids. It is definitely better for their age. I can't attach the pic though, because the site won't let me. But here is the link: FG dress

I am planning on having the girls wear floral head wreathes, so this one might be more appropriate!

I think the style is ok for the 7 year old but too mature for the younger one....the dress is beautiful though and does match your dress pretty well...whatever you choose will look great anyway

this one is similar to what I'm having (my mom is actually making mine)....I think you're right it will look better if you're going for a more natural look (with the floral wreath)...but whatever you choose will be perfect!

Im having my flower girl match me exactly but thats only because she is my daughter and i think it will be fun to look alike but if my FG wasnt my child i wouldnt want her to match me

It really depends on the age of the FG dresses. I think some of them are way to old looking (borderline inappropriate) for a little girl. A pretty sweater over the dress would eliminate that problem.

My FGs mom is one of my BMs and my aunt is making the dress. I just want a simple white dress with a ribbon/bow so she can wear it again. Plus I'm trying to save my BMs any money where I can!

I think I'm beginning to lean toward the second dress (one with no pic, but I included the link). Not only is it more age appropriate, but it is more affordable! The dress that looks like mine would be adorable, but I can't see my future nieces (flower girls ) wearing it...

i will always say it - little girls should look like little girls. Its pretty and kinda cool that it matches but i would never let my child put on something like that.

You can deff. find something with a back that is simular try eden bridals or marys i think they have simular designs that are more kiddie friendly. Otherwise I think your second choice is perfect!

My flower girl dress will not match my dress. I really have not even found anything close to what I want her to wear!

I agree that the dress would be cute on a 7 year old...but a little too mature for a 3 1/2 year old. It is adorable though!!

it doesn't have to match...i am not matching the fg dress to mine...i like the dresses that are little girl dresses, not adult dresses made for little girls, thats my personal taste though.

It's totally up to you because it's your day! However, I do like my FG's to look like little girls and they don't have to match me. In my opinion, kids nowadays grow up so fast it's nice to see them dress age appropriately!!
