Is it bad if I want to use the same FG dress that FH cousin just used? Its the same FG and she probably won't grow much before our wedding. I would change the sash color to match my BM (she had a black sash).
Also I'm not sure if the FG dress is ivory/off white. If it is, will that look bad with my white dress??
I don't think theres anything wrong with that why spend the money on another one if you like that one!!!

Re: FG dress questions
I think as long as it still fits her and you change teh sash, it will be fine! I'm sure her parents would appreciate not having to buy a new dress!

Re: FG dress questions
I dont see it as being a problem at all. I would definitely offer up your idea and see if your FG's mom feels the same way. The dress looks more white than ivory to me, but I would match them up before you make any final decisions. It really shouldnt make too much of a difference, but if the colors are noticeably different, it may come up funny in pictures.

Re: FG dress questions
I do love the dress. It looked perfect on her. They will have to get another one b/c her little sister is a FG too. I dont think they were expensive anyway.
Do you think it would look weird if her dress is off white or ivory and mine is white??
ETA: The FG mom (FSIL) loved the idea.

Re: FG dress questions
It depends on the shades....since you have her dress already, maybe you can bring it to the bridal store and compare it to the white for your dress? (either the sample, or another sample from your designer in the same fabric?)

Maybe it was the lighting in my house that made it look off white b/c the pics look white. Maybe i'll get to the store and hold it up against another dess since my sample is ivory. Good idea thanks.
