Re: FG hair/ what is a reasonable price??
That seems REALLY high to me - but i don't have kids - so i have no idea how much it should cost!
Maybe find a local salon near the hotel where you'll be getting ready & see if the FG's can go there? Something like a lemon tree or supercuts??

Right - that's my point - it's not like we're talking bridal hair here....50 bucks is a lot to me!!!

I paid $40 for mine. I didn't think that was too bad.

There is a place I go to alll the time - Top Cuts in Plainedge / Levittown on Hempstead Tpke - and they charge $30 for a 'simple updo.' I got a french twist for a wedding I went to a while back, and instead of pushing all of my hair into the twist, she made it come out the top and did a little funky thing with it, teasing it a bit ... It looked very cool and was very cheap. That's the kind of thing that would be in the $30 range for the FGs. I don't know where you live, but it's not far from the FH, so check them out if you want. I have been going there for 15 years and trust them with my life! The owner is Chris and she's great.
