FH and Florists...

FH and Florists...

FH has left it up to me to check out florists for our wedding. He says that flowers aren't his thing. Should I go without him or should I make him go. How do your FHs of Dhs feel about this??? LOL

My FH did not care for the florist. When I bought home a sample CP, he said 'why is there so much purple in the CP.'

Duh-----Our colors are purple/green.

I only involved FH in the parts that were important to him....for him, flowers actually happened to be up there on the list, so I had him come to that appt with me. Mostly I've done everything with my mom...I've come back with the info and presented it to FH and gotten his opinion.

Then again...if he were a very opinionated person, that wouldn't have worked...but he trusts me not to pick anything he wouldn't like, and he's pretty laid back.

FH wasn't really interested in going to the florist appointment either...so I went without him. I know it would have been torture for me and I enjoyed going by myself and talking flowers as long as I wanted to without worrying about FH being bored.

FH did not want anything to do with the flowers, as a matter of fact he had the nerve to tell me 'do we really need flowers? they are a waste and die the next day' Well, I let him have it!!!!! One day, we went to pay our Rh when out of nowhere he said 'lets go into that florist and see what they offer us'!!! Suddenly, he was the one requesting the high CP and the flowers and colors! I just sat back and enjoyed the view of him talking with the florist!! after a LONG 2 hours, I interfered and told him that I had the final say in the flowers since he picked out the RH and the Limos!! LOL......I still laugh about it!

we went together I thought he could care less surprisingly he took over with everything!! We went back since our florist is doing our invites as well and he totally knew what he wanted with that as well AND changed his mind with the CP's and totally knew what he wanted... in this dept he is being a minor groomzilla

im gonna ask him if u wants to go with me and i know the only reason he'll come is bc he wants to check out the prices......... other than that the flowers will be my choice just like everything else in the wedding
he doesn't really care about flowers

haha my FH is the complete opposite! I've booked almost all the vendors without him but he definitely wants to be involved in the flowers. He's very into our yard and landscaping but I don't think he realizes how different it is designing our centerpieces and bo-k's lol it will be an interesting appointment

We haven't looked into a Florist yet but so far FH wants to be involved in EVERYTHING, which can be annoying when he doesn't agree with me, so im sure he will want to go to the Florist as well.

My FH has done all the planning with me but is definitely leaving florists up to me. I completely understand his uninterest in going to florists.

I brought my mom. We were going for my hair trial afterwards, and even so, he was like 'I trust you!' I brought him for all the big stuff though, he's a GREAT negotiator!

I leave FH out of all the wedding planning. I've only dragged him to see DJ showcases and RH food tastings, but thats as far as he will go. Flowers and everything else is up to me.
