I WISH I could get him to change his mind. He swears our cat is going to be jealous and hurt if we bring another cat home. But I think she'll be fine! She seems so bored all the time. Are you planning on keeping it an indoor cat or are you going to let it go outside??

How old is the kitty? I know of a place in Bayshore that will fix any cat, plus give it the distemper/rabies shots for 57 dollars. FM me if you would like the #.. You dont even need an appt, they have drop off and pick up hours 5 days a weeks. You just show up with your kitty in a carrier and a few hours later he/she is all done.

As for keeping kitty inside. I have one cat that goes outside, cause shes a crazy cat I rescued and hates people/other animals. But when shes outside she is the bravest cat in the world.. I worry about her all the time. But when i keep her in she chews all her hair off.

LOL!! thanks for the info, I'm pretty sure you are talking about Island Rescue, right? I have an appointment on Monday to get 'it' checked out, and see about starting shots, etc.
