I wouldn't necessarily call it fighting or stressed, but ever since we've gotten engaged, I find that his family is annoying me more than usual.

I guess I just never realized how apathetic they all are. Nobody showed any interest when his older sister got married 2 years ago. I figured it was because she lived in Virginia, but she just announced that she's pregnant and no one is excited about the first grandchild!

When we told his parents we were getting married, his mother said, 'I hope it's not some big shin-dig where I have to have my picture taken.'

His younger sister will be graduating from the police academy in the summer and his parents are complaining about having to pay the airfare to go see the graduation.

I don't get it...

Geez....whats up with that? I mean we all have our little things with our inlaws that annoy us-like my fmil told me to rearrange my cabinets-please.

But why arent they even excited about a grandchild????

We are definitely more careful with how we spend money now. FH's bday is coming up next week and I feel I can't even get him what I want to...

Another issue is when I will be relocating to VA.

Other than that, everything is still the same.

we fought more before the engagement b/c I just wanted to get engaged...Now everything is soo smooth!

i'd have to say the week that we got engaged we were so lovey dovey it was sickening! lol then i wanted the entire wedding planned by the following week (i was obsessing over everything!!!) so we got into a few fights! lol but then when we started looking at RH's we had so much fun! we loved making fun of the places we hated and loved talking about the places we loved. now i'd say we are more in love than ever! he talks about the wedding just as much as i do!

Definitely more in love than ever. Before, I was stressed because I wanted to be engaged so badly (we already lived together and I wanted that real security). Now I'm just so happy and so is he!

More in Love than ever! We're always stressed about money, so thats nothing new! The wedding is just a new bill to pay!

I know this sounds lame, but FH and I have been great throughout this whole experience. We have been on the same page about everything except for our honeymoon. Other than that- we have learned more about eachother and actually grew a bit from this whole process. It's so weird, but when we got engaged- we talked more about everything and even learned more about eachother.

i say - more in love than ever, we arent fighting more than we normally do (which is not alot at all) we have compromised on everything so we had no fights about money or booking or anything wedding related. We made a budget for everything.. and if we go over in one we try and spend less money somewhere else. everything has been great planning the wedding. The only added stress is his family stress... but we arent fighting about it.

Def. all of the above!!! If money was not an issue than things would be much easier and less stressful! I got nervous at first with all the fights --but all my friends who are married said that they experienced that as well! We are def. learning to communicate better and try and not be so stubborn with each other. After we booked, I feel I have been much relaxed --hopefully it won't get crazy once I start booking other things besides the place!!!!
