FH and I just went this past week and adopted a 4 month old puppy from a shelter. She was a rescue puppy from down south and we are just in love with her Her name is Monroe. We kept the name the shelter gave her. The litter was named after Hollywood stars Monroe, Dean, Hepburn, and Harlow.

Isn't she so cute???

congratulations on the new addition to your home - she is adorable!

so happy you adopted a pet in need and did not buy a puppy mill dog at a local store!

adopt - don't shop!

Thanks! Both FH and I were adamant about this...we felt it was important to help rescue an animal since there are so many in need.

She is so cute. What kind of pup do they think she is?

Thanks! The shelter said that the mother was a black lab but not sure about the dad. The vet seems to think she may have some shepard in her as well.

So you get the best of both worlds
