I just need one night away, driving distance, under 400 bucks. I have been off all summer and have done nothing but wedding plans and personal errands. I deserve a break but all $ is going to the wedding. Suggestions?

Just came back from Boston and we had a blast. We stayed at the Quincy Marriot for about $200 for 2 nights. Hotel was really nice and they have a shuttle that goes straight to the train and it's very easy to get around. There is a lot of stuff you can do there.

Go to the culinary institute in hyde park ny you will love it there, it is also close to rhinbeck where chelsea clinton got married. Either that or go to the hyatt in greenwich ct, that place is so beautiful and you can travel to mohegan or norwalk or mystic.

Im gonna go with NYC do an overnight maybe? Other places I have gone that werent too Upstate, VT, Lake George, Pennsylvania.. Hershey Park has great weekend deals!

check out the Victorian Ladies Inn (B&B)
it's a gorgeous little B&B
so much to do there visit mansions which are gorgeous and fun cliff walk- gorgeous walk on a cliff, on the water behind all the mansions nice restaurants pier with water activities
you can take the ferry from orient point and then drive to newport will take you about 4 hours

I don't know when you're looking to go but after labor day the prices out east drop considerably. I've stayed out there the weekend after labor day a few times for almost nothing
