FH and I officially had our first wedding tiff

Our eparty is on Oct. 6 at a catering hall that his family has been having parties at for years. Well our final payment and headcount was due on Saturday (2 weeks before the party) but since I left for California yesterday, we planned it for Friday. I called the place to find out our BMs schedule so we could do everything with her. Well another BM picked up and said they'd both be there so I set it for 3pm. We get there and we're told our BM isn't there and we'd meet with the one I talked to. FH immediately says we're leaving without saying anything to me I was starting to get really mad because I'm leaving the next morning and won't be back until Thursday night. When was I supposed to pick anything out? He goes out to call his aunt who's good friend with our BM. (I know he wants to work with her only because she would throw things in for us, I'm not an idiot, but there are some things I can do now while I'm still in NY.) The BM that's there comes up and I walk to his office. He then says to me, 'I said Angela wouldn't be here and I'd work with you' LIAR!!! He said to me they'd both be there otherwise I would never have made the appointment!! Stupid jerk. Anyway I tell him I can give him my final headcount, pick my cake and the linens. So we do that and then we leave. FH and I are fighting in the car and he keeps saying stuff about how come I always asked him if so and so was coming and I shouldn't ask him, but his mother. So I yelled, 'Well this is your party too and you should take some responsibility for doing things and not expect me and your mother to do everything!' That shut him up quickly. He knew I was right. Then I said when was I supposed to pick things out for my party tomorrow? (He could careless about the linens, but I do lol). I mean really, he just went one track mind without saying anything to me or thinking about me not being there. He knew I was right. It was so stupid, but it happens.

Geez, that was long lol.

I understand your point.. dont join in at moments that you find important to you (meaning FH)- help ALL the time!!
