i'm making the turkey this year..my mom is away on business and will be back on thurs...so i'm prepping the turkey....for her, my dad and sister
fh is going to his parents house.....
i'm not sure what we're going to do abt holidays....whats going to happen on xmas? and easter?
i'm feeling blue
update.... FH feels bad... but of course i wont make him choose...he's going to stick around and help me w/the stuffing and leave when the bird goes in the oven at about 1 pm...
hopefully we can have a big dinn nxt year w/his fam and mine... thx for the sweet words girls

fh and I go to both parents houses lol.
we go to his around noon, and eat a little bit
then we go to mine around 5 and eat a little more. it works out well. but, then im stuffed

At least you guys will be able to spend some time together. It's hard not spending the holidays with FH though- the holidays are hard t figure out!

We go to one families for dinner and then the other for dessert alternating between each holiday. So for thanksgiving were going to FMIL for dinner and then my parents for dessert and then for xmas eve were going the opposite.

I'm not really going to spend much time with FH for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Since it's our last year before getting married we both want to spend it with our families.

dont worry, ur not alone! i'm sure lots of us are goin thru this. for me, FH is staying at his moms for thanksgiving this year bc its the 1 holiday shes not actually going to be working on....meanwhile i'll be at my house. its ok tho, next year we'll be doing the 'on and off' year for holidays. hope u cheer up
