FH and the Wedding budget-

I love FH-
today we made a big decsion about invites that changed the budget we had for the invites....ofcorse now we have raised the budget a bit more.. Which to be honest in the past months has kept getting higher and higher
So when we were talking about this,,

I said 'you do realize, we are going above the budget again right?'
he said ' ahh yeah,,, do we have a budget? How is that going?'

He KNOWS we do, but he is worse than me!! We need to stay with in the budget,, but he keeps having grand ideas or not saying NO to mine...
BANKRUPCY here we come!

what is wrong with these men lol they swear we have all the money in the world. sometimes fh has great ideas but i just have to shoot them down for budget reasons.

I would trade places with you -- my FH is the budget Nazi... everytime I go over budget he asks what we are going to downsize in order to keep within budget....

oh boy- i wish my fh was like yours

as long as u dont break the bank- ur ok

we went over our original budget just simply b/c things cost more than we expected- it happens.

so lets see the invites!

Ahhh!!! Both of us have different priorities. He didn't want a video but I thought it would be so nice. I didn't want expensive invites but he thinks it's a nice keepsake (he's very sentimental, he has a box of reciepts from dates we went on and pictures and things)

My FH has no clue we have a budget and doesn't seem to understand that I don't want to be in my apt. forever. If it was up to him---we would be wayyyyyyyyy over budget

Just keep reminding yourself 'this is only for maybe 6 hours of 1 day....' that may help to keep everything in perspective .... even better, divide your total budget into 6 and see how much its costing you PER HOUR

LOL at least you are keeping track. Great that he trusts you too- that's important. Can't wait to see the invites!

That's really cute lol.

Unfortunately, FH is on the budget like white is on rice.

If we are UNDER for something, my logic is 'yay, now we can spend a little more on_____'

He responds 'just because we saved money somewhere doesn't mean you have to blow it somewhere else!!!'
