So I am having a bit of trouble with the FH best man. He is supposed to be planning my Fh bachelor party, but he seems to be at a stand still right now and when I mention to him that he needs to get a move on it bc things are filling up/booking up he just says ok and that's it. My brother and father have both asked him if needs help with anything and his answer is always no. Well its not March and tickets for baseball games have gone on sale already and he has YET to plan anything. They want to go to Boston for the weekend but nothing is planned and FH keeps asking me about it and i feel so bad when I tell him I know nothing, bc I really don't. So he keeps telling me to tell him to forget about it!!!
Is there anything I should be doing to move this process along? I know I should be involved, but I feel bad and the Best man isn't doing anything!! Sooo frustrating!

Re: FH Bachelor party
The best advice I can give you is to not get too involved with it. I know you feel bad, believe me, b/c I go through this too with a few things on FH's side, but, it's better in the long run for you stay out of that part...unless of course they ask your opinion. You have plenty of your own stuff to worry about!
I was given this same advice and I took it and I'm happy I did

Re: FH Bachelor party
My FH's plans are at a stand still as well. As much as I want to just plan it to get it over with I am hoping they come up with something.

This is a rough situation. I agree with the girls. You are probably better off staying out of it. Just be there for your fh. Worse comes to worse your brother father and him can go by themselves??

Ugh, it's definitely a tough spot to be in, but I agree with the ladies.. Try and keep your distance. Of course, you want to make sure he has what he deserves but it may hurt him if he finds out you had to get involved..

As soon as mine was booked..I mentioned to my fiancé to tell the guys to get a move on it...guys don't really plan ahead so they needed some motivation

Re: FH Bachelor party
my FH did not trust his bro (BM) to plan it, so he planned his own basically. he told the guys where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do and the weekend they were going. He left the details up to them, but even then, he chimed in (until they took him off the distro). maybe let your FH know this is an option, or just have your fam go over the BM's head and plan something...

Re: FH Bachelor party
Funny I actually brought it up to FH bro (BM) today cus I felt the same way. Look, guys are totally different from us. While we freak out and want to plan everything and have control, and research, etc., guys wait til the last minute and aren't really in a panic or hurry lol, its true! So with this said, I think you should leave it alone: you already asked him and he clearly knows the wedding is approaching. He will come through ;) let's hope...

Re: FH Bachelor party
Okay so my FH is freaking out and carrying on about this. His 22 year old brother is his BM and is basically doing nothing. FH is harassing him daily to book rooms for the BP in AC, but he won't do it. So FH called me this morning and started yelling about how his bro won't do it and how it's unfair that he will have to do it. Then he throws in that his DAD is going to go and he doesn't know what do about that. His dad doesn't have any money (he owes FH and his brother money)...so I told him its inappropriate that his dad goes...oh the drama!!!!

Re: FH Bachelor party
So last night FH and I went to my aunts house for late St. Patty's day dinner. My brother and cousin (who are both in the wedding party) were there and I got some info out of them. Turns out NOTHING has been done for FH bach party, well now my brother and cousin have taken over and are now working on FH bach party. It really makes me happy that they are now doing something, bc FH was on a kick saying he doesn't want one..blah blah blah..All it took was for my bother and cousin to open their mouths and step up.
