Definitely give him some time, but if you love him, let him know how you feel and try to work it out. Let him see you are serious about this relationship and want to work on it.

I don't know the details of what happenned, so it's hard to give good advice. If he really is the lopve of your life and the one for you then he'll forgive you and he'll understand. Just give him some time and apologize for your part (I'm sure he had a part too). Things can be hard, especially where families are concerned. FH and I have had a lot of major conflicts where we almost broke up, or we had a big blowout, and it was ALL because of family issues...never us. And we realized that and we got through those times and we've gotten so much stronger. That could be the case for you too, but it would be a million things. If it's a smalla rgument, and nothing earth shattering, maybe FH was looking for an out and he took it. If you two are really both dedcated to marriage and commitment, then he'll come around, you'll learn from it, you'll get stronger, etc. But it's also a good opportunity to think and consider things. What if you were already amrried and this conflict arose, woulc your FH have broken up with you then? You're getting married in only a few months, what's going to change, or what do you expect to change between now and then that can make you feel secure that if another argument like this arises, he won;t want to break up the marriage. For my part, I take engagement very seriously. it's a commitment, like marriage. It's not like boyfriend and girlfriend where you break up, you'rer on again off again, it's a commitment to a marriage and a life together, and it's not something you can play with. I'm not saying this is what happenned and it's bad, it's just everyone is giving this scenario about the good things, but there could be bad things too, you just have to take it as an opportunity to really think about the relationship. If it's strong, then there's no problem. FH will come to his sense, you'll talk and everything will be better than ever, but there may be something else there to cause this... I really hope everything works out for the best
