in a church anymore. after we booked and everything.
Because he has to go do his confirmation AND FH job changes his hours weekly. They won't work with him to do this.
Does anyone have any advice? or what he can do? He has tried both my parish and his and their response is kinda like well that's your problem not mine.
He is an systems engineer with a 24 hours shifts.
What do I do?

He needs to contact the pastor of the parish. Thats ridiculous that they work word with him to recieve his SACRAMENTS! You should have a face to face meeting with him and tell him that he is denying you ur religious rights.

I was never confirmed and I'm getting married at St. Patrick's RC church in Bay Shore.
The priest tried to convince me that I should get my adult confirmation, but it's definitely not a requirement for us.

Why does he need to make his confirmation to get married in church? There are churches, I'm pretty sure, who will marry you without him making his sacraments...? Right?

I know it is horrible!! But I really want to get married in a church. I was in Catholic school for about 15 years and well I just want to get married in a church.
IMO opinion I won't feel like I am married if it's not done in a church. But let's see what happens ladies.
Thank you all for your advice.
GOod point! I feel you! FH and I said the same thing. We will feel as if we are NOT married if we dont get married in a Catholic Church. We are Catholics and def. needed to get maried in a church.
Fh started his Confrimation last yr, (It is a requiremnet if u want to do a Full Mass Catholic wedding to have ur sacraments.)
Perhaps check out diff Churchs... Dont give up if this means a lot to u...
