Hey girlies... FH is a personal trainer..so he works out EVERY day... he said he will wear his wedding band when he is training other people but not when he is working out because it will get all messed up from the weights n stuff (ok i get that..but i dont care lol) i want him to wear it al all times!!! hes not arguing me but i told him i would ask my LIW girls and see what they say about their FH's lol...so what do u think??? lol

FH is fire too and NONE of the guys wear their rings to work.. its just not safe.

but i truly think its hilarious how guys have every excuse in the world to not wear it to work.... its not safe, the chemicals, it will get bent, i mean come on if that was the case NO ONE would wear their rings

seriously... but thats why we are getting the tungston band for him, instead of bending it will just shatter if there is too much pressure

i never heard of this....

its soooo cheap but its shiny and comes in a variety of metalic colors... the metal is designed to shatter when there is too much pressure instead of bending and pinching. It is perfect for construction, fire cops, or anyone who works with their hands and has a risk of getting the jewelry caught on something.

FH is wearing a Tungsten. Its very sturdy and can take a beating. It's also very nice. We got it on Overstock, it was like 60 bucks!

my guy works on a boat and they do a lot of heavy lifting around machinery and chemicals so the less things that can get caught or in the way the better. he wont wear his at work either. im not really concerned, i'd rather he have all 10 fingers.

I train everyday t the gym and always take my ring off before I go... It really does get banned up from the weights. I wouldn't be too worried as long as he wears it the rest of the day

Don't kill me for saying this.... BUT every time I wear my rings to the gym they get all banged up and I HATE IT!!! Maybe if you get a ring that is stronger than most - this wont happen? Mine are both platinum and very soft. The jewelers warned me about this happening - so I try to never wear them at the gym.

FH works on power lines and is not allowed to wear any jewelry so I don't mind that he won't be wearing his all the time. All I ask is that he wear it on special occasions. FH also works out everyday and would never wear it to the gym because it would probably get destroyed by the weights and he insists that I don't wear mine to the gym but I do anyways... I love it to much!

My FH works for the city working on the highway, so he won't be wearing his ring. He wanted to wear it on a chain at work, but I don't want it to get caught or break or something. So it will be a chain,or not wearing it to work. I don't trust him leaving it in his locker at work. lol

my FH does flooring so he doesn't want to get his wedding band scratched. So he is thinking of either getting a Titanium ring just for work and the white gold band when he is not working or even contemplating getting tattooed.

was talking to FH about this the other day...him and his friends (who are all married) lift together everyday and they all wear their rings!

My FH wont be wearing his ring to work. He is an electrician and its dangerous but I also cannot wear my ring to work either! haha

My DH also was concerned about it being banged up.

so we got a very strong metal ring.

it was his choice.. he wanted to wear it 24/7 so we made sure to buy something more indestructable even though it wasn't his first choice.
