...and left a bridal shower invite that my mom had given him to give his mom laying around the apartment. Well, guess what I found today while straightening up? And of course I saw the date before it clicked in my head what I was looking at! My poor momma and BM went to such trouble to keep it a secret and he blew it! Guess I'll have to work on my 'surprise' face.

That is true. My BM's had me thinking my shower was a totally different date then when it was. They would leave hints about one date, but it was really another.

Re: FH dropped the ball...
FH's are good like that! My FH told me, without 'telling' me when my shower is. I asked him to re-schedule my hair appt, b/c my hair girl only works weekends now. The appt was initially for the 27th, when talking to FH he said 'What is that Sunday?' I said the 30th, he said 'don't do it that day, do it the next Sunday' He then said 'Don't make any plans on Sundays until May' Well I put 2 and 2 together and figured the shower would NOT be on Easter and since he told me NOT to make the appt on the 30th....Hmmmmm.
It's okay though. I didn't let him think I knew. I just played it off. He felt SO guilty when he thought I knew.

I agree - they just don't think about these things..like, hello she's in your aptm time to put away the invite Whatever - the good news is you can make sure you are wearing a great outfit that day

Re: FH dropped the ball...
It seems awkward to write out an invite without the location on it...
Which is why I think it was a fake to throw you off.
