FH Engagement present

Did anyone buy their FH a present after you got engaged???

I am looking to buy him a watch, and let me tell you, there are so many beautiful watches out there I am going nuts! Any suggestions?!

i got my fh a NY Yankees charm and gold necklace to match. He loved it and when i gave it to him he was like you didnt have to get me anything for our engagement.But i told him it was out of love and that i wanted too.... Do what is best in your heart....

I was going to buy FH a white gold chain to replace his ****** silver one... not really an engagement gift but a just because gift LoL He doesnt like watches or jewelry (besides his one chain) so hes kinda hard to buy for!

i wanted to get him a nice watch or something but he said he really wouldn't wear it that often. he's not really a jewelry kinda guy. so i got him really good mets tickets instead.

Ang, wait until Joey and Chrissy get back from Aruba, so he can help you pick something out! He knows all about watches...in fact I was also enlisting his help just last week to buy a watch for Jared for the wedding!!
We'll make a date of it the three of us!!

He never said he wanted anything for his engagement, but I want him to feel special too... I get this beautiful ring and I want him to have something to have to remind him of this wonderful experience of engagement!

I bought him the Movado SE with the black face. He LOVED it so much that he bought me the woman's version a few weeks ago for my graduation! I've always wanted his and her watches. He always jokes that the watch cost what the tax was on my engagement ring!!!! LOL

That was a good answer! I didnt give FH anything for our engagement but I got him a ring for his bday (which I posted the other day ) so I'm kinda killing two birds with one stone...its a bday gift and can be a late engagement gift!

I just recently bought FH a Mont Blanc watch ,...he wanted it for a lil while now and I guess he just didn't want to spend the money on himself ... He loves it and it was $2,000 ... I got it at fortunoff..

We didn't exchanged gifts bc money was just too tight.... but his bday was a week after our party and I spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$ b/t throwing him a surprise party and buying tickets to met/yankee game at shea... field level seats.... so I think he was happy!
