FH family vent!

So Fh's family is mainly in upstate NY or CT. I spent the weekend with some of them and they sound all bent out of shape about having to drive down to Long Island for the wedding!!! Then his aunt preceded to say how LI is a dive!! How RUDE! Obviously she knows I grew up there, why would she say something like that. She has no idea what she's talking about. I felt like telling her, 'then don't come to the wedding.' My parents would be so hurt if they knew how ridiculous some of his family members are acting. I am not going to tell them, but it bothers me too. They seem so judgemental and I am trying to not let it get to me, especially for the day of.

THEN, I hear how his family is confused because they think the STD is the actual invitation??? WHAT??? Who are they??

Awww.... Don't worry - 'in laws' have the tendency to be like that...Just continue doing things your own way - not theirs .... They sound like theyre rednecks from the sticks!!! Don't know what a STD is????? Brush ya shoulda's off girl - Dont stress them....Let them stress you!
