FH female friends

FH female friends

I put two of my FH female friends that are like sisters to him in my wedding and I have grown to love them to. I am known to send out one mass email to all my bridesmaid at a time so I only have to say what I need to once. Today for some reason they got offended and said they didn't want anymore emails from me but insisted they knew the email wasn't for them anyway. They also made sure not to forget to mention that they have taken on a financial burden by being in my wedding and that they have done more then what they should have been asked. My MOH asked them chip in with the bridal shower by just buying the paper plates, cups, table clothes, forks, spoons, knives etc. (all table goods). Then continued to tell me that I should appreciate them being in my wedding. All this from me giving them ideas on how they can beat frizzy hair (all my family is mixed with black or hispanic so we all suffer from it) to the best lingerie for a form fitting gown. I don't know what to do! I feel like skipping my own bridal shower to avoid having to look at them.

sorry you have to deal with this but it seems you are not alone. I don't understand why so many people have to take other people's weddings and make it ALL ABOUT THEM. you did nothing wrong - you were so nice to include them in the wedding and I am sure your FH appreciates it!

ugh that is terrible. i am so sorry you have to deal with the negativity. Can you ask FH to talk to the girls? I mean you were nice enough to include them in your wedding party, you shouldn't have to worry about their complaints!

They sound like they're feeling burdened for absolutely no reason at all! They probably thought you hit reply to something and weren't thinking about who you were sending the email to. Perhaps they even feel like outsiders being involved in your wedding. (They shouldn't but it's possible.)

I would send them another email just to the two of them responding that you didn't mean for them to be offended but that you really wanted to include them in the 'bridal loop' for the wedding since they are such an important part of the day to both you and FH. Emphasize again how important you realize they are to your FH and how glad you are they are part of your lives.

If they respond to that negatively, just push it aside as jealousy and insecurity and move forward. Enjoy yourself and don't worry about them anymore. They'll still be happy and fun to have around, but don't let their pettiness bring you down -- this is YOUR celebration!!!

Honestly i would just talk to them. Letthem know ho wmuch you do appreciat ethem beingin your party as you feel like they are your FH's sisters. But dont forget to let them know that you in no way meant to offend them or whatever & really have noidea why they are upset since you cant think of any reason why they would be.
