What have you gotten/what do you plan to give your FH/DH?

I'm still sooo up in the air about this... since we are both tight on money, and none the less we've already bought eachother everything that we want... LOL. Sooo.. We were thinking of finishing the tattoo that we have... We both have the same on on our top right arm...it's a little heart... and we're thinking of adding out names in it after our big day.

FH is getting one of the big digital cameras with the big lens.....his brother has one and its awesome...amazing pictures i figure it'll be a good investment for the honeymoon and eventually when we have kids....FH loves his brothers camera

I think we're going to try to not buy 'gifts' for eachother, but to buy big ticket items for our home (to be) instead .

Yeah, this is really hard. FH hates any sort of jewelry and hates even to wear a watch. I just have no idea what to get.

i got Dave his grooms' cakes. I got him 3 total - one representing each of his favorite sports.

The total price was $300 from Audrey's Bakery (www.audreybakes.com). They came out AMAZING and he was SHOCKED.

I did two at the rehearsal dinner and then one at the wedding - he was STUNNED at the one at the wedding....i saved the best for last (a steelers jersey). He figured his gifts were done once the RD was over.. :)

I got him a D & G wallet, because his was very old.
He almost ruined the surprise too by announcing that he's going to the mall to get a wallet before the wedding! Took some creative thinking on my part

I was looking into Tiffany cufflinks with his initials to wear on teh wedding day

this may not apply but for my FH engagement gift I got him a personalized brick on the walkway of Citi Field (the mets new stadium). He is a HUGE met fan so I knew he would love it. It says 'Lets Go Mets' our names and the day we got engaged. Plus they sent me a replica of that brick to keep and once we get our own hous I plan on putting it in the garden =)

thats a great idea- my FH is a HUGE yankee fan- i'm gonna see if they do that...

isnt it traditional to have the gift brought to him while he's gretting ready??? and if i do boudoir pics then i would NOT let anyone else see them....so when would i give it to him?

Hey, Sheila...I did it again. I replied without realizing that it was you. Hmmm...I think Brian would go crazy if you got him a brick for Yankee Stadium. Maybe Jets tickets...I think I remember him being a fan of the Jets? Or BJ tickets, but I'm not sure if he'll be playing again anytime soon.

i dont think we are doing gifts. FH and i are on the fence with gifts....we'd rather spend the money on the wedding then add another stress of a gift, plus i tend to go overboard with gifts so we're most likely skipping out on day of gifts
