so since we have been engaged, i have been asking him for a guest list mostly his friends. i have most of his family & close friends.. so yesterday he asks if he can add a few more..
Its not soo much the money but we a small room & don't it want it to be crowded!
i told him we will go over the guest list over the weekend..
why couldn't he give me the damn list BEFORE we booked our RH ?!!!!!

Thats why I asked FH to make a guestlist before booking our RH so we can have an approximate number

comfortably i think it holds about 120.
he keeps adding people i never heard of & still has to 'think' of people he wants to invite from work.
Luckily, he is not been difficult. I just wish he would finalize a list & not put off deciding who he wants to invite.

You have to keep pushing him for it and let him know the rule - you cant invite people you havent spoken to in 2 months. MY FH was the same way when it came to his groomsmen.

They are all the same...FH included.....He wants to know why does it matter if alot of the people we invite cannot come... He told me 'well you know things happen and people may have other things come up' I was like, 'are you kidding?' He has no clue....

ugh i feel your pain. my FIL's gave me a very very large list (130 people) consisting of just THEIR FRIENDS (mostly) and their family. FH didn't even have his friends on the list. I come from a very large family and we only have room for 240 at our RH. Mind you we didn't even want a wedding this big but according to FMIL we 'must' invite these people---they are all mostly from work. So needless to say, FH and I didn't send STD's to a lot of people we want to invite. We need to wait and see who will RSVP No from his side and then start sending out a 2nd batch of invites. yeah.....i feel your pain.

i know how you feel!!! FH always says..no ..no more people.. it's too much... then he's like..oh what about so and so.. i'm like are u kidding me?? lol. You're the one who keeps saying it's too much and now you wanna add people...what a pain...lol
