I cant believe it lol he loves the rangers! and he saw it and he goes 'i dont want my BRIDE wearing this!' lol and im all 'but u love the rangers' and hes all 'but for our wedding?' lol I think we're just gonna use it for our toss and ill get a nice one for him to take off of me lol.

Aww...sooo funny!!! I was thinking of getting a Yankee garter and then changed my mind.. I'm going to keep the nice one on and get a lesser expensive one for him to take off.. Sooo cute!!!

DH hated the mets one I ordered (I'm the mets fan) so I compromised and got a mets toss garter and a classy blue and lace regular garter.

i know it doesnt make sense. i thought he would love it because it would incorporate something he loves and i like. but hes like 'umm not for a wedding' lol o well at least it wasnt too expensive

That stinks. I think my FH would love it if he discovered I had been wearing a Mets garter for him, but that's only cause he's a diehard Mets fan and I'm a diehard Yankee fan. Needless to say, I don't think I can do it!!! LOL

yeah, but the one he takes off is the one he tosses! i had a mets garter for DH, rangers for me and then a blue lace one (that i got for free) for DH to toss. now i have the ranger garter in my car and DH has the mets in his car. it's just a nice keepsake and honestly, no one saw what i was wearing b/c only DH saw my thigh!

I think it's a man thing ladies. I mean they don't want a garter that represents a bunch of muscular, rich men! They want something just for them...I understand the methods to their madness, sometimes.

I am getting a yankee one.. it goes with our yankee themed wedding.... he can like it or not... What is important is that i like it.. Seriously I doubt he will care about what is or isn;t on the garter anyways~!
I kind of agree I'm not to keen on sports garters but definitely u can use it for the toss...

Well, I'm an Islanders fan, so should I even respond?
FH initially had the same reaction when I said I was getting an Islanders garter...'I don't want that logo anywhere NEAR that area, it just seems dirty and gross'. But then he came around and thought it was cool, so I got it. He wasn't really going to make a big deal if I wanted it anyways.
