FH Hobbies

FH Hobbies

does anyone's fh have a really big hobby, that is very important to them??

My FH collects Transformers (robot/vehicle toys from the 80's)... has like 2 or 3 hundred of them!

anyone else??

My FH collects model cars of mustangs, sports cars, tv/movie cars (Dukes of Hazard, Back to the Future, etc) and puts them out like trophies.

I allow it b/c I have consumed all our book cases with photo albums and books!

Sports obsessed is his hobby!! He works in sports and then when he's not working he's either on the internet checking sport stuff or watching ESPN. He also has a Yankee room in our new house, it's still a work in progress but it will have pinstripe walls and all his autographed stuff. We also have a Yankee comforter on the bed.

FH LOVES Star Wars. He collects Transformers too, but Star Wars is his biggest hobby.

YES! FH is obsessed with baseball. He loves the Dodgers but collects everything baseball. He has tons of the major league baseball figures (I call them dolls!), baseball cards, autographed pictures on the wall and baseballs. Our second bedroom is being taken over by his obsession. It's supposed to be OUR office but I'm only allowed to put my stuff in one little corner of the room. He actually took down my college diploma to put up his new Dodgers clock!

My Fh is obsessed with Video Games and Music, ( not the good kind neither the kind where the singer screams and u dunno what hes saying) and Spiderman...

OOoooh, I had to draw the line at the Yankee comforter... I told FH that that blanket will be for snuggling on the couch only and will NOT be displayed in the apt. He's lucky I allowed Yankee pics to hang on the walls (and i'm a yankee fan!!!)

Also sports obsessed. He's not working in sports yet, but trying to get a job in the sports field!!! Other than that, it's every sport possible, every channel, every day, every fantasy league...when people ask what kind of music he listens to he says sports radio, usually 660 and then sings the song.

He's lucky I LOVE sports, but there are days when even I need a break from it!!

My FH LOVES the flea market.
and he collects masks and weapons - sounds a bit on the dark side I know.
But he has done a lot of travelling and so have his parents so he has all these cool masks and swords from places like China, Turkey and Japan.

He's a volunteer Fireman...anyone else with one of those. If so, I sympathise....

being a fireman is very noble, but it has the tendency to turn into more of a fraternity and take over his life.

Okay so it's not just my guy, whew! My fiance collects action figures (MacFarlane's, Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, etc..), Movies (currently have about 600 DVD's, and videogames. It's out of control, lol.
