I know it's his wedding too....

Here's the thing, growing up, we ALWAYS celebrated EVERY birthday with a carvel ice cream cake and in my family, all the birthdays are clustered (three in January, 2 in March...) I remember having to literally BEG my mother to buy me a 'regular' cake for my birthday and it would cause such fights!

So I HATE ice cream cake.

Now, how stupid am I going to look going to Baskin Robbins to order an ice cream WEDDING cake?????

Can I just go back to eloping?????

maybe you could do a regular cake and then do a smaller ice cream cake for the groom's cake. then you'll both be happy

do it for your grooms cake! my dad's friend owns a carvel and made us a custom ice cream cake for our e-party (cookie dough and strawberry with one of our e-pictures screened on top)

I would go the grooms cake route and either have it at the rehearsal dinner or as a second cake at the wedding. Only because if you have it displayed all nite, in an hour you'll have one big melted icecream mess! hehe.
