So i've always known that FH was a cranky baby in the mornings and he knows it too. But since we've moved in together, its reallllly starting to get to me. No matter what day it is, for literally 2 hours it is like talking to a brick wall. He loses his ability to hear because if i talk to him he dosent respond or if he does respond its something to the effect of 'What? i dont understand'. I get this response to the most mundane morning converstation...
So this wouldnt be such a big deal if i had more time to talk to him in the evenings, but i will start working nights soon so three days a week the only time i can speak to him is in the morning!! He is completely uncooperative when i try to talk to him about this issue, its like pulling teeth. Does anyone else have this problem?

It used to be the opposite for me. I used to be super cranky in the morning and would rip the head off of anyone who tried to talk to me. But now I've completely done a 180 and im usually in a pretty good mood when I wake up in the morning. Probably because my body is used to it now because work starts so early. Plus, im waking up next to my amazing FH and that tends to put me in a good mood. Does your FH go to work early in the moning or not till later in the day? Maybe hes getting too much sleep?? That can make people cranky too.

My FH is the same way in the morning...I'm the most chipper person though so I don't blame him I wake up at 6:30 to go to the gym and blab on the phone when he's trying to sleep....I would kill me if I were on the other side!!!!!

I'm cranky in the morning and my suggestion to you would be to give him his space until he initiates conversation....I hate having people try to talk to me early in the morning or after I just get home after a rough day...if you keep trying to talk to him it's not going to get anywhere and it's just going to annoy him... so next time, just don't say anything and he'll probably go out of his way to try to talk to you...he'll probably think something is wrong, lol..

Im sorry i know how you feel! my fh is the same way in the mornings and sometimes during the day even!! especially if he has a bad day at work..its like men get there 'time of the month' or something!!!!!

FH doesn't even know whats going on in the mornings. He is very hard to wake up and when he finally does he starts talking about whatever he was dreaming about but actually gets up, confuses me all the time bc im half asleep too and im like HUH what? And he will be cranky for a bit...luckily weekdays he just drops me off at the train station so were not together long. Weekends hes actually ok, guess its just when he has to wake up real early.
