FH is crazy

Our neighbors have a church behind their house(they belong to this church) they have a path on the side of their house which is actually technically our property that their church members use to get to the church....so they park in front of our house which ANNOYS fh SO BAD. We dont have our driveway done yet so it looks like a part of our yard so people walk right on it and dont care if they take our spot in front of the house

well after he got home from the gym today someone is in his spot so he completely BLOCKED THEM IN
I hate confrontation I wish he would just let it go

i am sorry , but i have to say that is pretty funny--those kinds of things bother me too and i would prob do the same thing

I get angry about those kinds of things too! I try to not let it get to a confrontation though.

I can totally sympathize. We have a Jehovah's Witness Hall across the street. They meet on Sundays and a couple of nights during the week. They even park where they aren't supposed to. It is dangerous! I wish the cops would come & give them parking tickets! Between them & the neighbors across the street, there are many times our spots are taken. Ugh!!!!

I can sympathize. I hate that too. I just pulled up to my driveway and I guess one of our neighbors have company and they are parked so close to my driveway entrance I could barely pull in to my own driveway. But... there isn't much you can do, it's a public street and technically they can park there. Your FH really has no right to block them in. It's just inconsiderate & rude of them to park there, not illegal.

Our block used to get really crowded growing up, and people would park really close to our driveway....so one time, I had a lot of trouble pulling into the drieway because the car was so close, and I couldn't take it....I went inside, got some paper, wrote the person a nasty note and left it in their wiper.
I told my brother, and he went out to read what it said, and while he was reading it, a cop drove down the street and asked what he was doing....so my brother explained the situation....and the cop ticketed every car that was parked illegally on the block, which was most of them.
i had such satisfaction that day!!!!

i can understand how whe feels i use to pay for a driveway spot at my old apartment and the girls that rented the apartment upstairs had a spot in the same driveway but would use there spot and then have one of there friend use mine and then block the driveway so if i had to carry in grocieries i would have find a spot like a block away and carry my groceries to my apartment. the worst thing being that when i asked them to move they would get pissed off and act like i was doing something to them. if they stayed out of my spot they wouldnt have to come down and move.

So are they parking IN FRONT of your house? Like on the street in front of your house? Isn't that considered the county's property?

We don't have anything like that near our house, but we just have annoying neighbors. They have a huge, I mean HUGE driveway that they simply don't use and instead park in front of their house (directly behind our driveway) and in front of our house. It's very frustrating, but I've never tried to do anything about it.
