I would be upset about my schedule being altered but would be supportive of DH with the new job/career. Once the schedule is worked out, it becomes a little easier.

I would be furious about being late to the new job. We all know that is NO WAY to make an impression at a new job and he should know this since he was layed off from his last job because of this!

Sorry. It may take your FH some time to get used to the change in hours. Maybe you can both go to sleep a little earlier.
As far as cooking, you can cook something and have the same thing in a different form the next night so you don't have to cook again. Example: One night you may have pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes. The next night you can cut up the leftover pork and put it in a nice salad for dinner.

hey Guys thanks I know I am just B***ing right now because he is just soo lazy sometimes. I wouldnt mind my sacrifices if he can asure me that he will hold up his end of the bargin. I am not feeling overwhelmingly reassured by him at the moment.

You don't sound like a B****. You just sound like you are annoyed. I would try and work with each other. It is probably going to be tough in the beginning but then you will both be used to the schedule change.

Hi, I didn't see your original post but I can sympathize b/c when I met FH he had an awesome sked except for a few busy times during the year. Now he is working nights and we barely see e/o during the week & it seems any chores or errands I ask of him is too much for him to take care of for the most part. It drives me crazy sometimes. Then to not see him much on top of it really irks me. Weekends it seems we are always running around visiting, etc. & barely have alone time.

I missed that post too.. but I feel ya.

Im sitting in my office until at least 8 cause I dont' feel like going home alone. He has a late thing at the office today (3rd friday of every month)..

*Shrug*

Gotta figure it out I guess.
